Shibani Dandekar began her career as a host on American television with three nationally broadcast shows- ‘Namaste America’, ‘V Desi’ and ‘The Asian Variety Show’.
She has anchored popular shows like ‘After Hours' on Zee Cafe, 'Men 2.0’ on AXN, ‘Let's Design’ on Zoom, ‘India's Sexiest Bachelor’ on Big CBS Prime, and ‘India's Glam Diva’ on Big CBS Love and many more. She also anchored the Indian-produced ‘Grammy Nominees Special’ on VH1 as a lead-up to the 53rd Grammy Awards.
Since 2011, she has co-hosted the show ‘Extra Innings - T 20’ on Sony Max TV during the Indian Premier League matches. Shibani is also hosting the ‘Mission Cover Shot’ for the National Geographic channel.
Shibani was also seen as a supporting actor in numerous films like 'Shaandaar', 'Sultan', 'Noor', 'Naam Shabana' and 'Bhavesh Joshi'. She was a contestant on the TV dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' in 2012 and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' in 2017 on Colors TV.
She has been the host of significant events such as the ‘Maxim Hot 100’ and ‘MTV Coke Studio’ and has been associated with brands like Nike, Rolls Royce, Puma, Mercedes, Toyota, Horlicks, and many more. Alongside Andrew Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness, she hosted the opening ceremony of the ‘ICC Cricket World Cup 2019’.
She received a nomination for Best Anchor Game/Quiz Show at the 11th Indian Television Academy Awards. She also anchored the Sony launch of the tribute to Michael Jackson - ‘This is it’.
